Promotional Codes

Promotional codes can be used to give the customer a discount, points towards future bookings, or merchandise/services. RezEasy support three types of promotional code: Membership, Discount, and Discount with Expires Date. A customer claims a promotional code in the booking confirmation page.

Membership

Membership codes apply a percentage discount to a reservation based on the number of reservations that have been made using the code. You can assign membership codes to individuals, groups or corporate clients. Each time a reservation is made using a promotional code the number of reservations made with that code is incremented. This in turn can increase the discount. You can change the reservation bands and the discounts at any time.

Discount

Discount codes apply a fixed amount or percentage discount to a reservation. The discount can be in the form of an amount of money that is deducted from the cost of the reservation. Or you can give the the customer points or merchandise/services to the value of the discount. If you are awarding points or giving merchandise/services you must keep track of the points/merchandise/services that the customer is to receive.

Discount with Expires Date

Discount codes with expires date apply a fixed amount or percentage discount to a reservation. However, you can set a date after which the code cannot be used. The discount can be in the form of an amount of money that is deducted from the cost of the reservation. Or you can give the the customer points or merchandise/services to the value of the discount. If you are awarding points or giving merchandise/services you must keep track of the points/merchandise/services that the customer is to receive.
