Database Options

The online reservations system on your web site has two options for the database.

RezEasy's Built-in Database

This is a properietary database that is built into RezEasy. All the code to read, write or query the database is included in RezEasy online reservation system and no external programs are required. The database is created automatically the first time a reservation is placed.

MySQL Database

RezEasy can also use MySQL to store data. Of course if you select this option you must have a hosting package that includes MySQL and the Perl DBI module (ask your hosting company for confirmation). With the MySQL option you can create your own queries using the SQL query language. This allows you to create custom reports in addition to RezEasy's standard reports.

Standard Reports

RezEasy has a number of reports. These are available for RezEasy's built-in database and the MySQL option.
