How do guests find me?
RezEasy works from your web site, from agents and affiliates sites and from many of the most popular directory web sites. All you need to do is to make sure that your site is listed with search engines such as Yahoo, Google, AltaVista, Excite etc. Also add your site to regional travel directories and national and international directories. Potential guests find your web site on these sources, and from there are only one click away from your online reservation system. «FAQ list»
Do I have to list my complete inventory?
No! RezEasy allows you to list only the rooms you wish. However, there is no reason not to list your complete inventory because the system is under your control. «FAQ list»
What if a guest calls me to make a reservation will this not mess up RezEasy's availability table?
No. You can easily add a booking made by telephone, fax or other means to RezEasy via the Internet. This way the availability within RezEasy is always up to date. «FAQ list»
What is the process for adding RezEasy to my web site?

How do I charge for my rooms per night or per person?
That is up to you RezEasy can handle both types or room rates. «FAQ list»
Does RezEasy handle reduced rates for children?

Can I specify the minimum and maximum number of guests per room type?

Can travel agents and tour operators use my reservation system?
Yes. You can assign a user name, password and discount to any number of travel agents, tour operators or corporate clients. Once logged in to RezEasy the agent receives the discount that you specified. «FAQ list»
Does RezEasy allow for seasonal rates?
Yes. You can specify up to 24 different seasons in a year. «FAQ list»
Does RezEasy allow for daily rates?
Yes. You can specify up to 4 different rates in a week. «FAQ list»
Does RezEasy allow for seasonal rates with different rates at weekends?
Yes. You can specify up to 24 seasons in a year and also specify 2 different rates during a week for each season. «FAQ list»
How am I notified when a guest makes a reservation request?
You are immediately sent an email when a guest makes a successful reservation request. Also you can specify a second email address that should receive a copy of the email. In the agency version you can also tell RezEasy to send an email to each hotel with details of their bookings. In all cases the guest receives an email showing booking details. «FAQ list»
When is a reservation processed before or after payment
If you are using a payment gateway that supports callback it the reservation is processed after the payment, toherwise it is before payment. «FAQ list»
Do I have to take payment at the time of booking?
No you can tell RezEasy that no payment is required. «FAQ list»
Can a guest change or cancel a booking?
Yes a guest can login and either change or modify an existing booking. «FAQ list»
Does RezEasy have any sales reporting?
Yes. The program can display several reports plus individual invoices. Reports can be displayed for an entire year or the dates that you select. «FAQ list»
Can I see a list of guests arriving between dates?
Yes you can see a list of all reservations with arrival an date between dates that you specify.
Can I offer a discount for a certain period?
Yes. You can specify the discount period and the amount. In the agency version these can be different for each property. RezEasy will apply the discount for any part of the stay within the discount period. «FAQ list»
My hotel closes for 2 months per year how do I handle this?
You can specify one or two periods when you will not accept any reservations. This might be because you are closed or because you have a special function at that time. «FAQ list»
Does RezEasy handle discounts for long term guests?
Yes. You can specify the minimum stay before the discount applies and the discount amount. «FAQ list»
Can RezEasy handle a service charge?
Yes. You can add both a percentage and fixed amount. Adding surcharges is an optional feature. «FAQ list»
Can RezEasy handle tax?

I offer different rates for bed & breakfast and full board is this possible in RezEasy?
Yes. You would specify the basic cost for a room (either per room or per person). This can be just the room or you can include breakfast. You can then offer other meal options as an extra on the booking form. So you could offer lunch, lunch & dinner, full board etc. «FAQ list»
Can I add airport pickup onto the booking form?
Yes. You can, if you wish, include a range of options on the booking form. These can be charged in a variety of ways. «FAQ list»
How do I add pictures in RezEasy Agency?
You can add pictures by including the property ID as part of the files name. For a full explanation download the pdf file that explains this process in detail.
Do I have to link to Hallisoft web site?
No you do not have to put links to Hallisoft.com on the pages of your online reservation system. However, you must not put any links or text in these pages that implies the reservation system is anything other than RezEasy. For example you cannot say "Powered by XYZ"
Can I remove RezEasy logo from administration pages in /remupdate?
No you must not remove the logo from administration pages or the RezEasy copyright notice. Also you must not add any text to the administration pages that in any way implies that the reservation system is any other than RezEasy.
